Taboo is rebellion.
As a creative, my main goal is to make something that will exist longer than me. One day I'll pass on, but my illicit drawings and scathing music will remain. Its not only a hobby but my purpose. I was born into this Earth suddenly, so I can at least make it count with my ideas and my vision. I make these works for myself and for others like you, politely eavesdropping on my creations.
I'm obsessed with how nudity instantly makes something taboo. It's simultaneously beautiful and hideous. We've all seen it, it's show of fearlessness and pride, but also to stay concealed. It seems erotic without context, but it amazes me how It combines beauty and rebellion without any bloodshed. Its something we all know but never really ask why. This is why I am unpresentable for a larger audience. My so called nudism protects me from mainstream, fragile, onlookers. I feel protection in turning my works into blasphemy simply by stripping.
Pornography on the other hand, is all caricatures of the human body that do not exist in real life. Only made to satisfy the numb feelings of addicts. People cannot tell the difference between the two.
I look at the hundreds of cassettes on Discogs of niche musicians from the 70s, 80s, 90s. They put their all into the works, most people have never heard of them, and many are probably dead by now. But I feel so much for their contribution. One day I'll be only my works, I feel comfortable in knowing that.
